Solar Power is extensively used for water heating. All Buildings feature rainwater catchments with extensive storage facilities.This eco lodge recycle wherever possible, use bio degradable cleaning agents,source food locally and grow their own organic garden. They offer conservation education to schools and wildlife clubs in Seychelles. Giant Tortoise living in poor captive conditions within the Seychelles are purchased and released on the island giving them the freedom they so rightly deserved.

Saadani Safari Eco Lodge is the only one within the park Saadani where its nine tented cottages are hidden on a tranquil beach overlooking the Indian Ocean. The main building, grass-roofed and perched on stilts, houses a bar and restaurant with gorgeous views of the golden sands.

The eco lodge has built a wind powered water pump which allows the villagers to have clean fresh water.Grey Water is pumped into specially designed septic tanks.They compost waste food, recycle wherever possible, use bio degradable cleaning agents. This eco lodge is currently in the process of adding a reed bed system to assist the village with firewood.
