Eco Friendly Highlights:

The Eco Hotel uses solar ernegy for heating water and to generate electricity for 4 rooms ( of the 10 ) and the offices as well. They have an aerobic waste water treatment plant ( using bacteria) to treat water. They already meet most of their water needs through rainwater collection and focus on water and energy saving fixtures.The Eco hotel compost waste food, recycle wherever possible, use bio degradable cleaning agents and source food locally. The eco hotel support local employment and have a tree planting project with the J.C.D.T. ( Jamaica conservation Development Trust) to offer guests the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint as well as offsetting the hotel's Co2 output. A further enhancement is the installation of a solar powered pool pump.
